Pig manure is used to produce organic fertilizer, sewage is processed by anaerobic digestion, and then released into pasture area for irrigation; grass is used as pig feed¡¡ such a recycling circle could consume pig waste. Recently, grass of Beilun food company¡¯s livestock and poultry multiplication farm grows well, and staff there are harvesting mature water convolvulus.
The person in charge of this farm said that sewage was here originally delivered to the special sewage treatment factory, which is time-consuming and costly. They transformated the whole waste management system. Every day, they transport pig manure to organic fertilizer processing work house, through adding wood chips and then produce organic fertilizer, which become a favorite cheap fertilizer of neighboring vegetable farmers. Other pig manure is buried into the sedimentation tank processing, then into the anaerobic zone after the solid-liquid separation into biogas slurry pond. The gas of biogas slurry pond could be used for lighting, cooking and heating, while biogas slurry could be used for irrigation of 70 mu water convolvulus and other forage. Staff found that these forage can not only increase pigs¡¯ appetite, but also enhance their immunity.
The project was put into use in June this year, which could deal with over 60 tons sewage a day, save 50,000 kwh electricity, produce forage300 ton, save feed 200,000 yuan, in a direct economic benefits 400,000 yuan every year. Today, the staff has planted a lot grass, flowers and vegetables, the smelled up pig farms have become a "garden." |
